Gigabit Broadband in my area.
I've been offered Gigabit broadband by a company for a decent price but for some reason I can get it only with them when I check online I cannot get it with Sky who I'm currently with I don't want to leave but the offer is very tempting. Is there a reason why that is? I was assuming they have a deal in place with them providing the service to my area.

Re: Gigabit Broadband in my area.
@Craigy89 Sky only use the Openreach network but there are numerous small providers lumped together under the name of Altnets who have laid fibre in different areas. Many are offering very tempting prices to get customers to get a return on the capital they have invested building the network. That is great assuming their investors continue pumping in money but some have already folded or been sold.
