Getting fragmented screens when watching sky app programs and watching amazon prime programs

I am on the fastest sky broadband service but am getting fragmented and sometimes failed programs on both sky apps on sky Q and when using amazon prime on my laptop.

The sky q and laptop ware wired into the router.

Anyone getting the same problem?

@MrMajorThorburn if the laptop and Q box are connected by direct Ethernet cables to the hub you should not be getting buffering on streamed video. Even the most demanding UHD content on Prime needs well less than 50Mb/s bandwidth and Ethernet should be free of interference.

Therefore something is wrong if you are on a full fibre connection. I would check both devices are using ethernet rather than WiFi the Q box should use ethernet w ithout any adjustment but check the network settings that it is actually connected. With the laptop dusablectge WiFi connection to test.

You mention you are on the fastest Sky broadband service that would normally be taken as the 900Mb/s Gigafast full fibre product (technically of course it is the very new 5Gb/s Gigafast+) but if you still have a service over the old copper line where the top speed is 80Mb/s you can hit issues with streaming if other people are using the connection at the sametime.

I confirm that the devices are all ethernet connected. I also confirm that wifi is disabled.

I have checked the device settings and cannot see anything that explains the problem.
