G.fast speed
Evening. Any other Gfast connected people here that have suffered massive line speed drops? My 150Mb service, which apart from it disconnectd once a day has always run at full speed. Since 9 days ago that has now dropped down to 80/90 meg. Sky say I'm still on 150 but it feels like I've been downgraded back to normal 80m ADSL speeds. Engineer coming out in the morning at sky's request. Anyone else had this?? Thanks

@Yorkshire+Bloke one of the issues with G.Fast is its relstive instability which is one of the reasons it is gadually being replaced by full fibre. Many things can cause issues but if you post your hub's connection stats forum members should be able to advise see Sky Hub statistics

I am on the 150 and am getting the same 75-80 mbps, router has been replaced but still the same, at first I was getting close to 150 over WiFi and Ethernet

You could claim against the Sky Speed Guarantee to collect your one month subscription refund, but they may well tell you that nothing will be done about the line itself.

Thanks, the issue is the line speed in the router settings shows 159 down and 30 up... but even connected directly with an Ethernet cable (just one device) today was only getting 70 ? So if I call Sky... will just give me headache lol

I only have a few months left in contract then I will use Vodafone/three as the local mast is giving me 400mbps + and will be cheaper on an unlimited sim
