@FW71 what Sky TV system are you buying out of Sky+HD, Sky Q, Sky Stream or Sky Glass as you have posted in the forum that supports Sky Broadband which is very u likely to be the direct cause of your picture issue. 

Also check if it is an issue with the programme/channel or affects all channels. The forum is customer tomcustomer support and members need more info to becable the help.
