Is there an option not to have the box fixed to the outside wall. I have newly rendered wall and do want a box or cables on it.

FTTP installation requires a Customer Service Point (CSP) because that houses and protects the fusion splice, and its location is dictated by where the optical drop cable is arriving from.

Regarding the need for 'cables', it's somewhat challenging to deploy Fibre To The Premises without actually using fibre.

@Steven_-M you would have to discuss this with the team doing the install but there is limited opportunity for variation. The CSP is quite neat and is required to allow a point to weld the fibre cable coming from the road to the internal fibre pigtail cable. If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

@Steven_-M No easy answer as everyone is different, but my CSP is mounted inside in the dormer roof space, so off the pole, fibre to the roofline, up the truss and mounted, see picture when it is cleared and approved for viewing. I took care off all the pre-work and OR Engineer did the rest!
