Full fibre installed by open reach, tv sees new sky router(white) no broadband! Sky sends new white router, same result! Told to plug old black router into fibre box. This works ( but no landline, not sure why) after 3 days old black router stops working lights indicate green orange green orange counting from left. Thoughts are the Q box I have might be incompatible with the new white box?
recent fault could be sky monkeying with the settings thinking I have a white box? Sky help useless as all the helpful pictures now do not match the set up I have. Full fibre white box on wall 3 greens, old black router with green orange green.
what do I do now no broadband over Xmas.
engineer booked for 30th dec to look at white box failure but need to understand what lights mean to progress things.

One thing you can forget is an issue with Sky not knowing you are using the black hub as the system doesnt work like that. It sounds like there is an issue with your fibre connection which hopefully the engineer can diagnose and fix.
Your Sky Q boxes are not involved with the connection between the hub and the exchange but there are potential issues between your new white Sky Max hub and your Sky Q boxes with the way the WiFi connection from the hub to the devices work. The older black hubs support Sky Qs mesh wifi system so the Q boxes act as wifi hotspots for your devices. That no longer is possible with the new white hubs support Sky.
