There's not yet a compulsion to do so nationally, but in some locations Sky cannot prove a digital voice service over FTTC and so will have to end broadband service before PSTN is switched off in January 2027.

Re: Full fibre upgrade

Im guessing that you have alreday been contacted about this by Sky. If full fibre broadband FTTP is already avalible outside your property and you are currently using Sky part fibre FTTC or copper brodabnd then they will msot likely try and switch you over to Full Fibre which is much faster and mor reliable. As some areas are moving over to full fibre it would be pointless and a waste of money to keep the copper network active and functional as well as the fibre network.  I know that with my mum she recived a letter from her ISP stating taht tehy were going to siwtch her to full fibre.
