Full fibre installation. Will I be without internet for a long period

Good afternoon 

im due to have my new sky full fibre internet installed by open reach on Wednesday? Will I be without internet while this process is happening or just while the switch over takes place?

@Ah08 Smooth and working transition and if Engineer is doing it for you, then it's a five minute swapover! FTTP goes up and live, fttc falls away, landline phones may just take that little bit longer 24-4hrs to fully transition from the copper to the Fibre!

Any hiccups in the process, then who knows, new Fibre ONT, Power and Pon full green light, if you dont see that first then would not be swapping over!

Are you sky to sky upgrade copper fttc to FF Full Fibre install, OR openreach or CF CityFibre if you know!

Thankyou for the information seams like it will be an easy process. It's a sky upgrade from super fast to full fibre to be installed by open reach both inside and outside the property. Hopefully this will make it an easy install and swap over
