Full fibre in flats

Hey, I'm wondering if the installation of full fibre broadband is possible in a block of flats? I'm on the second floor and am not quite sure how the outside building work (drilling?) connects to the inside flat (please excuse my lack of knowledge on the technical jargon!). Thanks if anyone can help.

Possible, yes, but potentially complex and time consuming, and can only proceed with the cooperation of the building owner or managing company.

Typically a bulk connection arrives at the outside of the building and is then distributed internally with a feed to each dwelling unit.
