Full fibre and extender plug

I've finally managed to get full fibre 100 installed after many years of poor WiFi. We were previously provided with an extender plug which didn't improve the WiFi in one of the upstairs bedrooms although we have a mini box in the bedroom next door. The WiFi extender plug was not plugged in for a few months prior to the full fibre being installed. I'm pleased to say WiFi in the house is great now. My query is I'm still  paying for sky WiFi max (in contract until November 2026 the same as my original sky wifi contract was until I switched over) Is this the plug? Or does the WiFi Max boost the full fibre regardless of the extender plug not being plugged in? Either way I want to return the plug but I'm just going round in circles trying to do this. I'm pulling my hair out trying. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Kazzzzy WiFi Max is a bundle of services including provision of up to 3 extender pods, parental controls and a few other bits see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

The package does not improve the range of the hub as such but if you dont need the extender so much the better. Personally I wouldn't return it in case you do need it at some point. Sky only ask for these units back if you cancel the WiFi Max bundle.

Re: Full fibre and extender plug

Thank you @Chrisee I have since spoken to sky who advised that they don't want the plug back.
