Full fibre 150

Just had full fibre 150 put it and my son is getting kicked out of games on his Xbox. He says it's worse than the previous broadband

@LesleyB20 Is the games consule connected to the sky Hub with a wired Ethernet cable? When Full Fibre was installed, it is the same hub you had as before, and is it also in the same position?

Re: Full fibre 150

@LesleyB20 You did not change it to a white sky Max hub per chance?

Re: Full fibre 150

@LesleyB20 You may have to now go get the addon to boost your wireless cost is an additional £10 per month if you do not have it, but take a look if the WPA3-T adjust down to WPA2 works first, use your sky app to adjust, see the link and the advanced wireless section to guide you! Otherwise use your old sky Broadband Hub, looks the same as the white one but is black in colour!

Sky Max change settings link.

Re: Full fibre 150

I have Sky WiFi max.., tbf it's only an extra £4 a month. Only had it done yesterday. Free, no extra cost due to the copper switch off. It bakes my head...

Re: Full fibre 150

@LesleyB20 That is good, you got well discounted then, so sky will push you to wait the 14 day's but call them up and try hard to get a sky Pod sent out asap to you! Also try getting the MySky app and adjust down to the WPA2, that is what was previous on the old sky Hub, works a lot better, but the sky Max does seem to NOT push the wireless wifi about as good as the older hub.....

Higher spec the Max is, downside can be not as far with the wifi signal! Cannot say the difference, have never used a sky Max Hub, and NEVER would....
