Fibre broadband

Looking to upgrade Broadband to fibre, getting emails from broadband companies saying fibre is now available at our address including Sky, but when we try to upgrade on the Sky website I'm told it isn't available??? What's going on?

@Jon+Partridge Sky offer fibre broadband over Openreach and City Fibre's networks so offers from other network providers like Gigafast wont work. The online checker can fail if there are issues that can only be resolved over ghe phone such as a switch from an analogue voice line to a digital one unhelfully the online checker doesn't tell you this. Give Sky a call.

There can be a few addresses in some postcodes where full fibre is not available due to a local issue which a mail shot will not be accurate enough to avoid. Hopefully thst doesn't include your home.
