Fibre Broadband Constantly Dropping. Engineer couldn’t fix.
I've been having a constant battle with our Superfast Fibre Broadband over the past two weeks. It seems to be an endless cycle. My broadband will be working perfectly fine with no speed losses or dips then, seemingly out of nowhere, it will cut out. My hub will go to the status where the power and wifi lights are green, but the voice light is orange and the broadband light is not lit at all. Then a couple minutes later, the LOS light on my ONT will go red. This will happen usually just after mid day and lasts for around 8-10 hours before miraculously going back to fully working, and has happened almost every day over the past two weeks.
I work full-time from home so yesterday after yet another red LOS light appeared, I finally caved and booked an engineer after going through the broadband tests on the MySky app. The Openreach engineer arrived around 10am morning and was somewhat baffled as well. He said intermittent drops like this are usually due to the light not properly reaching the end of the fibre cables due to large distances from the source which is not the case in my property. He said the light coming into the property was good. He did repair a slightly damaged fibre cable going from the Openreach box on the wall to the ONT but said that cable didn't seem to be the issue anyway as it was still getting good light through it. Annoyingly, the broadband was working whilst he was here so he couldn't properly assess the issue whilst it was happening.
Low and behold though, at 2pm on the dot I'm sat working and see I've lost connection again, go to the hub to only be greeted by two green lights and a couple minutes later, a red LOS light on the ONT. I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do now. The engineer said it's more likely an issue on the ISP end as the readings he took suggest everything within Openreach's control is fine.
I started with all the self-help guides, tried and engineer and I'm still no further on, so any guidance from this point would be greatly appreciated.

@Zecon the Openreach engineer is best placed to know what the problem is but given the connection is entirely passive it is diffcult to see what could be the issue. However this needs to go back to Openreach but given as yet Sky wont have got the engineer's report which usually come in over night you may have to wait until tomorrow before they can escalate the fault

Let me tell you this....you are not alone, there are hundreds of people getting this issue, the router sr203 is the worst router on the market, it is not fit for purpose and sky won't admit it. I am writing this currently on my mobile data as once again the router doesn't have a wan connection despite the ONT being all green. this is the umpteenth time and fortunately I have an email from sky saying I can exit the contract early with no charges. I will never use sky broadband again as it's equipment is below par and doesn't work consistently

I appreciate the response, but I don't think we have the same issue. My ONT does not have all green lights. The red LOS light appears for around 8 hours or so and then magically fixes itself in a seemingly never-ending daily cycle.
