Fibre 500 Speed

Had Sky fibre 500 installed just over 1 week ago, changed from Virgin 250, ran various speed checkers, on both wired and wifi devices, on wifi, I'm getting anything between 80 mbps and 250 mbps, but on the wired devices, a range of 79 to 100 mbps, had a long telephone conversation with Sky, and after several checks/tests, and resetting of the router, the technician, basically gave up, and suggested a new router, this has now been swapped over, absolutely no difference, the speed coming in to the house, is stable with speeds between 489 and 508 mbps, having read through several similar stories, I have changed the cable, to elimiate thispossibility, I suspect that there is a 100 mbps cap on this system. How do I get this sorted, I don't appreciate paying for 500, and receiving below 20% of this.

Thanks

Re: Fibre 500 Speed

@Barry-s Sounds like your wired connection device has a 100Mb/s Ethernet in it, cannot be the wan as you have 250Mb/s stated in you post!
