Fast fibre

I have had a call to book an appointment about Sky fast Fibre. He asked to many questions for my liking .is this normal

Acting on instructions from government, Ofcom insists that ISPs ask about care alarms and other alert systems, local mobile phone coverage, and the presence of individuals in the household who might be described as  'vulnerable' before they can process an order for broadband: this is because digital service doesn't necessarily support such hardware and there's no current coming down optical fibre which can keep a simple handset running during a power cut.

They also need to confirm that an adult will be present during the appointment to give consent to the work required.
