FULL FIBRE SPEED

Hello, I have just had Fibre Broadband fitted (300mb/s) downstairs is great super-fast upstairs useless I thought fibre was the way to go I moved over from EE didn’t have this problem without fibre, any help would be gratefully received, TIA.

Hi @Nick296 

The Fibre technology used has no affect on how the WiFi performs in your home, this is down to local conditions such as router, home construction/layout, local devices & interference.

Speed is always going to be best next to the router, and then taper off as you get further away. You may want to look at getting boosters from Sky to improve coverage in certain rooms.

Just looking at extra £6 a month surprise I thought that it would be include not sure to bother or get some WiFi extendors
