FTTP lag in games
What are the common reasons that could cause lag in game with FTTP? . I play on ethernet and my ping is good but I keep lagging I tried other games same problem.
Is there hub stats which can show if something is wrong? Or certain tests I can do? It's very frustrating the lag is.
I have an open nat type.

Re: FTTP lag in games
Hi @Palm886
Is it all games or specific ones? What kind of lag? Are you able to try another gaming device to test?

Re: FTTP lag in games
First off the sky max doesn't give me open nat,
I have to place the condole in a dmz which I hate doing.
Secondly trying to run a broadband quality monitor doesn't work.
I am connected via ethernet, I get lagg in all games and packet loss. But strangely when I ping google it shows good results.

Re: FTTP lag in games
The lag is an odd one as the ping is fine but if I do a speedtest on xbox sometimes it shows packet loss.
Gaming feels slow unresponsive type lag.
