Discussion topic: FTTP WiFi keeps dropping off on mobile

Just had FTTP installed yesterday. WiFi on Phone connected no problem, however the phone keeps defaulting back to 5g. Phone message "connected without Internet".

Turning WiFi on phone off and on resolves the issue but only temporarily.

Any ideas?

Hi there, is this happening on all phones or any other devices or is it just this particular device?

Currently my phone seems to be the one suffering. Wife's seems ok.

Mine is about 6 months old and no settings were changed when I switched from old to new WiFi.

Router is also unobstructed on top of a TV Unit.
