FIBRE FITTED BUT CONNECTION WORSE

I had Fibre Ultrafast fitted on Friday but the signal in all rooms is much worse than before we had it fitted. This is proving difficult for all in the family to complete their daily activities and we had no problems before. How can this be resolved or reverted back to what we had ?

@SS16  The issue sounds like a wifi issue rather then a line isse, if you had FTTP installed you won't be able to revert to the previous service which would have been FTTC or ADSL.

Can you follow these steps to improve your wifi?  https://www.sky.com/help/home/broadband/my-broadband-speed/improving-wi-fi-signal-to-my-devices/arti...

@SS16

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.
