External telephone junction box damaged

I have just noticed that the external telephone/broadband junction box is damaged and wires are exposed.  Everything is still working at the moment but am trying to find were I report this and arrange for an engineer to fix/replace, before things stop working.

The external Junction box is openreach responsibility but you will not be able to contact them directly. You need to approach openreach, indirectly through sky to get this resolved..

Thanks - I have managed finally to talk to someone at SKY but because everything is working they cannot do anything.  They did give me the open reach website and told me to report damaged open reach equipment, which I have done.  Following a looong conversation with a couple of chat bots looks like someone will come out.

We will see what happens, otherwise need to wait for it to disrupt service and then SKY can action

Yes, the fact that everything appears to be working is an issue and I suppose understandably so, although provable physical damage should bypass that. It would be a shame if you actually needed to disable your own internet by pulling a cable to get this sorted.

Re: External telephone junction box damaged

Just to confirm someone came out and fixed the issue, which is good.  What is not so good is how long it took to get to that position.

I feel it could have been much easier.  Maybe SKY could allow the recording of fixes that do not actually cause any loss of service issues?
