I’ve been renting my property for six months, and my landlord confirmed that no broadband has been set up by himself but not sure any tenants before. However, when I tried to register a new Sky Broadband account, I received this message:
‘Looks like we have found an account associated with your address. Please enter the valid email address linked to the account in order to continue with your order.’
I contacted Sky, but they told me they can only cancel the old account if I register directly through them. Since I want to purchase broadband via TopCashback, they won’t cancel the old account for me. Has anyone experienced this before, or is there a way to resolve it?

If you haven't already, try the option for moving to the address rather than already living there.
