Ethernet and wifi

Just had full fibre installed. Can I connect the Q box to the router (Sky hub 4.2)via an Ethernet cable and run the two mini boxes on WiFi. I've seen on the set up that once the q box is connected that I'm supposed to disable both WiFi bands on it. Would my mini boxes then connect through the router ?

@beatmiester Help to setup sky Q, and be sure to check for network issue on the Q itself when hard wired.

Re: Ethernet and wifi

Thanks. Would you know if the mini boxes will work from the router with the WiFi switched off on the q box ?

@beatmiester In theory yes with the sky Q ethernet connected and using the hub to path to the mini boxes, any guidance on the sky Q Forum for the best way to do it!
