Engineer Visit Activation
Is there not a live chat to speak to a person ??
anyway , I was supposed to have an engineer visit today to activate my broadband but I'm in hospital with my 5 year old
I wanted to ask however, I already have a bt master socked but the end of the Ethernet cable don't fit, would it work if it had a fitted one? Can I not just get a Ethernet cable sent to me?
secondly can I rearrange my appointment for the end of the week, as my daughter is extremely unwell. I shouldn't be charged as I tried to contact last week but I have no clue how to speak to somebody! I cannot speak on phone I'm partially deaf and find it really difficult

If you have received an ethernet cable from sky it sounds like you are getting full fibre fttp which requires an engineer visit to the house to install a fibre optic ont

Re: Engineer Visit Activation
Hi @Ellel8
Unfortunately you will likely be charged for a missed appointment as notification is required. You could try and dispute this with Sky. If you are hard of hearing and struggle to contact Sky it may be worth you registering with the accessibility team

As for re-arranging your appointment its likely to be longer than the end of the week due to the availability of Openreach engineers. Again you'll need to get in contact with Sky to re-arrange this.
Myself & Others offer our time to help others, please be respectful.
