I'm getting if I'm lucky 2.3MB/s which to be real is pathetic it's taking hours to download 10GB is there anyway I can make it quicker I have Ethernet it's in a open spot and everything but it doesn't seem to change the speed at all

Click on maintenance along the top and login with

Username     admin

Password      sky or wifi password

At the bottom of that page click on show statistics and post the table

When your stats showed it gave 20Mbps.  If your speed test showed 2.3MB/s that would be 2.3×8 Mbps.

I was going to add that the stats weren't up long enough to gauge if that is the correct speed

That would coincide with your stats.  What device did you get 2.3MB/s

thats just when im downloading say a game it never goes above 2.3mb/s thats what i dont get

2.3MB/s is 18.4Mbps.  Most gaming sites use MB/s instead of Mbps

That's pretty normal game download speed for the type of broadband you have.

You'll have to upgrade your broadband to fttp eventually as all the copper lines are being switched off 1st January 2027
