The important bit on that link is the highlighted bit here (posting on here isn't letting Sky know):
‘Total loss of service’ for more than two full working days after you’ve let us know. That’s if your Sky Broadband and/or Sky Talk stops working completely.
The compensation is paid at £9.76 per day and is added to your account as a credit that will be used against a bill, it can not be refunded.

No domestic ISP refunds for a day of outage because the Openreach target time to fix is two days starting the day after reporting (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
