Do Sky hardware devices include WPA3

i'm currently having my WiFi jammed on CCTV and Video doorbell.  i understand this can also be a cause of the WPA2 security within the modem and broadband hardware.

Does anyone know if the new Sky hardware includes the WPA3 protocol..?

many thanks

@Calx most commonly the issue is the other way round ie the hub offers a wifi security system that is too high for the CCTV kit to handle. If you have the white Sky Max hub thst defaults to WPA3-T which is a standard designed for kit that either supports WPA2 or WPA3 can connect to. However some kit including some CCTV systems have issues connecting where this happens you can change the security standard to WPA2 using the hub's advanced settings in the My Sky app. Although you can switch the hub to use the full WPA3 standard it is unlikely that all of your other devices can connect to that.

Re: Do Sky hardware devices include WPA3

Hi, thanks Chrisee

my issue though is with WPA2 as my video is switched off/paused, so potentially "jammed" due to what might be a vulnerability with WPA2.

many thanks for respondingl
