Disconnection issues with this new broadband

Hi, I'm new to Sky broadband and 2 of my family tablets and my own mobile phone regularly get disconnected from the home wifi. I fear that the signal and service isn't as strong as what I've paid for. Please can you check this for me. Many thanks Neil

@NeilStirling you are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum. However if the issue is just the connection between the phone and your new Sky hub that us not something Sky can necessarily sort for you. Thesefore check if other devices are connecting properly if they are then try tge phone in the same room as your hub you should get a decent connection.

 

However that may not stop your phone switching to use mobile data as many phones hsveca setting to use mobilecdata if it is faster. On iPhones that is called "WiFi assist" and is at the bottom of the mobilecdata settings as mobile speeds improve this is an issue we see quite frequently.

Thanks for your reply.

 

A bit strange because the broadband was with Vodafone and worked perfectly on all devices for 3 years. I've chosen what appears to be a better product with Sky and now have connection issues.
