Digital landline switchover
I haven't yet heard from Sky about switching my landline. As the copper switch off is due around January, should I have heard by now ?

Re: Digital landline switchover
It's PSTN (analogue voice service) which is being discontinued, not broadband over copper.
If you already possess a Hub model which is equipped with a phone port then there's not necessarily anything Sky has to do.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Digital landline switchover
Thanks for the taking the time to reply.
I probably haven't been clear enough. My question is really quite simple - all the articles and advice I've read clearly say that my provider (Sky) should contact me to arrange / inform / manage the migration process. This process has been ongoing for 2 years or more, and is due to complete in January, but I have had no contact from Sky.

Who provides your phone service at the moment?

Re: Digital landline switchover
As Tim said, it is not copper broadband that is ending, only the phone as a separate service sharing that copper line. The phone must now be part of the broadband; be it copper or fibre.
If BT provide the phone, they should be in touch about the changes, not Sky.
Basically, you have three choices:
1) Stay with Sky for broadband and move your phone service to Sky.
2) Keep the phone service with BT and move the broadband to BT.
3) Do without a phone service and stay as you are.
