Hi,
A deleted port forwarding rule is still active even after rebooting the router.
I created a port forwarding rule which worked fine (port 8080, TCP/UDP). After deleteing said rule via the App I noticed that the rule is still active and the port is wide open. When I try to add new port forwarding rules they are not effective, nothing happens. Seems like something is horribly stuck somewhere.
I have a SR213 v002 router, with software image SR213_7.9p1s3_PROD_sey.
Regards,
Tim

Have you tried factory resetting the router?

Hi, This is a workaround and is not a solution. Yes, I did this as the only option. The router software needs fixing, there are plenty of complaints. Also, port forwarding is totally broken an it does not work at all.

This was the "solution" a Sky representative told me to do. I did not imply you categorized amything in any way. I am grateful for your answer so that others stumbling upon this will have a chance to avoid waiting for 30 minutes on the phone. However, the "have you tried turning it on and off" is not really professional approach.

Thanks - I was having similar issues and this worked for me. I also have SR213 Revision 002 with firmware SR213_7.9p1s3_PROD_sey - I had set up the router and made a couple of small changes to the configs, then set up various port forwarding rules on the MySky app, none of which seemed to work. I did a factory reset (from the router's web interface>>Troubleshooting>>Reset/Restore Gateway>>Restore Factory Settings) then re-added the port forwarding rules in MySky app, which worked immediately.
