DNS resolution error

Overnight I'm having DNS issues blocking my work VPN. Has all worked fine. Sky say no problem. Open reach say problem fixed. It isn't. Definitely not an issue with work VPN; all my colleagues have no issues accessing. Is there any way I can solve this? Thanks.

@Cath77 it would be unusual for an issue with Sky's DNS to affect a work VPN but just in case it is add a public DNS service to your work laptop or PC network settings for the Sky connection Google's public DNS is at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Not sure of the relevance of your Openreach comment as if other devices are connecting normally the physical network is connected. Issues with one app on a device is definitely nothing to do with them. Sky's network does handle routing but most VPNs are coded in such a way the ISPs simple send the data to the IP address the app gives them.

Re: DNS resolution error

@Chrisee  Thank you. I really do think it's a problem with the router blocking the dns. I can connect no problem via my phone hotspot. WiFi seems slow too. I've reset the router multiple times.

@Community Has anyone else had this issue?
