Credit switch offer question

Hi,

We have recently been informed fibre is now available at our property so we are planning to move to Sky. However we currently have 6 months left on our existing EE mobile broadband contract. Does anybody know if the credit switch offer applies to the cancellation of mobile broadband contracts too? I can't find any clear info on this without phoning them up.

thanks in advance.

Thanks all for your help. I've managed to speak to Sky and they have confirmed that mobile broadband isn't covered. Very frustrating but never mind.

Re: Credit switch offer question

Yes but does it apply when moving from mobile broadband to Sky, or just standard/fibre from another provider?

@Glen1889 reading the "legal bit" on that link there are obvious indications that mobile broadband is excluded from the "all providers" description.

If you want 100% confirmstion you will have to talk to Sky. Ordering over the phone is the best option where you have questions as calls are recorded so in the unlikely event of an argument someone can check exactly what was said.

Possibly missing a 'no' from your answer there?

My concern would be the reference to 'line rental' in "£100 Broadband/Calls/Line Rental Credit: Applicable to all providers."

Based on experience with Sky, I suspect the text pre-dates the concept of cellular broadband provision and no-one has revisited it for a while or two....
