Continual problems with buffering and tv streaming.

Sky tells me everything OK ?

multiple engineer visits but streaming and WiFi problems continue (ie: picture freeze, buffering, WiFi signal strength in the kb not mb etc)

resets, WiFi extenders moved around, it appears sky hub and extenders cannot handle multiple connected devices.

At wits end think I'll have to change back to virgin.

@Kapp1 Sky's wifi kit is certainly not the best on the market but neither is Virgin's. In my experience the Sky hubs can handle around 25 devices easily but a lot depends on what the devices are and what data they use. My own system can easily handle my 3 Stream pucks and Glass TV plus other devices but the router does have limited processing power and of course does not have any QOS ability which can prioritise devices.

You may find buying snd using 3rd party kit is the best solution rather than changing isp. You can use thitd party wifi kit pretty simply by configuring it to operate as access pointsbehind tge Sky hub so keeping the landline or go thecshole hog and connectva third party router in place of tge Sky hub. Not every brand will handle Sky's authentication requirements but Asus are a safe choice.

As mentioned Virgin kit comes out much the same as Sky's in tests but it might suit your set up as things vary.
