Connection keeps dropping
Hi everyone, I seem to be having issues with my internet connection, everyday for past week just loses internet completely numerous times a day, all checks ive done seem to say there's no issue but its absolutely shocking

all the lights are green, but numerous times throughout the day e.g. around 1.35pm today the internet and voice lights went completely off for 10 minutes, then flashed orange/red for around 2 minutes then stayed red/orange for 5 minutes before turning back green. This happens at least 5/6 times a day for the past week.

@Cerixox All you can do is either test your line using the link supplied above, and if you wish post the stat's for your line/hub connection from below!

I have the same issue in the past few days too, I noticed a few new posts also mentioned the same thing. I am also hoping to find out what caused the wifi keeps dropping on my devices since my PC that's directly connected through an ethernet cable does not have the disconnection problem.

@CelineT Are you sure that you have the same, if the Internet light went off then it should not matter what your pc is connected too as it would have connected but no internet shown for the connection state.

That's what I'm baffled about, it would seem it's only the wifi but not the actual broadband. I've run tests and they all come back saying it's fine. I'm just reading posts here trying to get ideas on what might also be happening to mine before I have to contact Sky about it.
I haven't moved my laptop anywhere else or moved the hub, so physically no change to my setup.
also when I clicked reply the original post didn't have the details yet... so no probablty not the exact same issue I'm having here.

@CelineT Once you know and work it out then fill us in, the laptop if windows based, your network connection for the Ethernet will change to show you the connected state or not!

Yes and no, it goes weeks even months where its fine and then begins again, its a nightmare honestly.

@Cerixox Let's just wait until your stat's are approved, but you where asked to supply them way back, and the Internet light off can be for many many reason's which may aslo be NOTHING to do with anything your end!

Yeah i understand that it's more of an inconvience when I'm trying to work and the internet dips in and out for nearly 15/20mins numerous times throughout the day.
