Connecting to sky broadband

I'm trying to connect my new sky hub as I'm switching from another provider. I didn't receive a purple ended cable but I've connected the yellow ones as directed. What goes into the master socket. There is a cable from my old provider in there currently and that's seems to go into a port in the old hub

If you are due to be provisioned of FTTP then the master socket isn't relevant anyway.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
