Also, the promise of having better WiFi in every room isn't true. I still have poor WiFi signal in places of the house, despite the hub being basically in the middle of the building.
Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.
Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

I don't understand. The hub itself is sent from Sky. What you're saying is the pitch proclaiming better WiFi is false? So what about connecting the Nintendo Switch?

Re: Connecting to a device
The guarantee is more of a promise to send you boosters if your router does not provide coverage across your whole house. So if this is the case for you then you need to call Sky and they will send you a booster.
As for your Nintendo switch people have reported that you need to lower the security to WPA2 on the router.

Re: Connecting to a device
So you control your router via the My Sky app. If you go on there its a setting called security
