Connecting printer to WiFi max

I'm trying to connect my wireless printer to my new WiFi max hub, but it's saying check max address filter? Not sure what that means? Plus trying to set up my new router but just keeps failing done it multiple times now and no luck!

'MAC address filter', probably.

 

A Max Hub can carry out such filtering (it's applied in the Parental Controls) but won't be doing so by default.

I'm saying that filtering isn't likely to be the issue.

 

The problem may come from the printer not liking the Hub having the same network name in both wireless bands.

 

You could try logging into the Hub settings (using the My Sky app) and then temporarily switching off the 5Ghz WiFi signal.
