Changing ssid wifi name

Im trying to change my wifi name in the router settings when clicking save comes up with error code no option to change this in the app any help would be appreciated

@Jamesnich24  How is the device that you are connected to the router to make these changes, as it is best to do this through a wired connection, rather than over Wi-Fi.

Right i see im using my phone on wifi would it be better using my laptop on ethernet ?

Only to try different web browsers: Safari seems to be the least likely to succeed.

Urgh. All my devices are apple lol. I'll see if I can use my work laptop tomorrow and update the thread if successful.
