Hello could someone please explain why I pay for broadband whilst I am still waiting for it to be activated in my new address ?
I would of thought that the days I am not able to use the broadband I wouldn't pay ?

Not delayed, it will be the date they told me.
Just I don't understand being charged once they cut off my BB in the old address until I get the BB in the new property.

I applied for the "change of address" on the 18/3, they confirmed on the 20/3. The date of the new activation and when the engineer will officially connect will be the 4//4.
If was only a few days I wouldn't mind but it is two weeks of no BB and they have still charged me the same amount.

Wednesday 20th March.

During a normal Sky home move you give them 2 weeks notice & the broadband at your old address should be switched off 1 day before activation at your new address. I would give them a call and ask why they have cut it off so soon and ask them to put credit on your account for the 2 weeks

I have tried finding a number for Sky BB but unsuccessfully.
I was hoping this thread would put me in the right direction.
