Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@GalkaH using the signal strength indications on a mobile device is not particularly accurate far better is to run a speed test at various locations. The new hub does take time to optimise so leave for at least 24 hours before deciding it isnt working in your home. Also consider its location make sure it is as central as possible on a surface out in the open above obstructions like radiators.
If you are still stuck Sky can supply matched pod extenderscif uou have bought the WiFi Max add-on.

Tha is for your response, much appreciated.
i ll wait for 24 hours to see if the signal improves but Wi-Fi drops down like every 5 minutes which is rather annoying.
i have referred to signal strength indicator as some visual reference but apart from that I have run all the tests and they said that signal strength is worse than usual. To be fair it s been like this for the last month or so. I thought sky max would improve that but I'm thinking now of swapping back to the old router
