Cannot connect to work vpn

Since changing to Sky, I'm unable to connect to work VPN.

already tried -

cookies and caches files have been deleted cached DNS has been flushed
the VPN works on 4G/5G mobile data

turned Sky Hub  off for 1 full hour

switched off IPv6

enabled Upnp

Error message says Can’t connect to  VPN. The specified port is already open

can anyone suggest anything more, I'm currently unable to work from office due to health issues so need this sorted as soon as possible.

Firstly disable Sky Broadband Shield.

Then try changing the DNS preferred and alternate address on your device to Googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Re: Cannot connect to work vpn

My brother had this problem when on certain networks, can you try speaking to your work IT team ? as they may come across this a lot and have a way of working around it.

Have you confirmed that you are on a 1:1 share through the MySky App?

If so then you can request a non-shared public IPv4 address through the VPN form below. Make sure to explicitly ask for this.

Apologies, you have to check through the web interface at https://192.168.0.1/ Log in with admin plus the original wifi password printed on the hub.

You can find it impossible to log in on desktop but my mobile works fine, you just have to pinch within the details to expand it big enough to read.
