Everytime I follow the steps as given via sky, I type in my new password hit apply and everytime it says page cannot be found connection lost

any ideas ?

This is typically best done through an ethernet device, not over WiFi.

If you only have wireless hardware, the least successful has historically been Safari on iThings.
