Cancelled Switch to Sky!

Tried to switch to Sky, was cancelled by Sky as I was switching from NOW Broadband and apparently landline numbers cannot be ported between the same company!

 

Despite the cancellation, Sky still debited my CC by £5 and have been trying to get a refund for a week, the call centre in India are telling me it'll be o0n my next bill, what bill? there are no products or services as these were cancelled by SKY

 

Furthermore, sky have 'tagged' the landline number thus preventing me switching to another provider, is there any chance this can get sorted out.

 

We are getting close to end of contract and there is no intention of staying with NOW Btroadband

 

Any Advice...

@acjgo I believe you can now port numbers from Now to Sky  as therecis a new system in operation. Quite understand if you dontvwant to switch but if you do it could be worth trying again.
