Broardband not activated

Broardband was due to go live on 30 of October when the engineer arrived he could not do anything as i dont have a BT line. Now they are saying it may possibley be mid febuary. Im now paying for sky glass that i cant use. Am i able to get the £6.10 a day compensation until im activated? Can i just cancel with out cost and go back to virgin? Any help greatly recieved sky chat cant help and i cant get through on the telephone.

@-badger- the compenation is calculated and credited after the line is connected and I am pretty certain you cannot be paid on account before then. You can cancel without charge at any time up to 31 days after the line goes live but you will have to call Sky to do so.
