Have you tried disconnecting the wifi connection on the iMac, rebooting it then having it search for and connect to the wifi connection again ?

Re: Can’t connect to broadband
I have followed all the troubleshooting tips suggested on you website. I have switched the router and my Mac computer off several times and have not seen a change in response on my Mac

Re: Can’t connect to broadband
@Frank521 Can you ethernet network connect the imac to the sky hub, once you have a broadband connection, go to your sky account and set the broadband shield to off. allow some time for it to filter across all, ideally 24hrs, then go try your wireless from then.

Re: Can’t connect to broadband
@Frank521 Sounds like an IP address issue which is lijely if your Mac was set up to use a fixed IP address with your previous ISP's router. yoIf that applies youare likely to have to change that address to work with your Sky hub. Sky use the IP range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.253 with tge gateway address of 192.168.0.1 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and remember to reserve a fixed address in the hub's settings
If confused simply check that the Mac's wifi setting is set timget connection details from the router.

Re: Can’t connect to broadband
Thanks for your help with this. I ended up speaking to an Apple tech guy and after a long long conversation it is now up and running again.
