If that's an email from Openreach then you're not getting service regardless of what any ISP says.

Database is wrong, simple as that.
Last time I saw a figure something like 1-2% of properties were incorrect on the Openreach database - that's about 600,000 or so IIRC and most of those are old/rural.

Oh whoop de woo! So it's a classic case of one hand not knowing what the other hand etc. Congratualtions, Openreach.
Thank you for wasting my time.
And Sky
And the others I spoke to (though I'm guessing it all stems with Openreach's misinformation).
There should be some compensation for people - and companies who lose valuable working hours due to Openreach errors! 😡

and anyone else who saw/commented on this.
Following my previous findings (reminder: Openreach and BT searches showing I can and I can't and I can get full fibre to my property, plus an email FROM Openreach saying no I can't as it's not here yet)... I re-wrote to Openreach asking why then their postcode search showed it was available and why providers also thought it was available if they have now emailed saying it's not?
I got an email saying my query was escalated to a case handler and just got an email with the subject: "
"Fibre is available – Fibre is already available"
They go on to say:
"I’ve looked into your enquiry and can confirm our systems are already showing that Fibre to the premises (FTTP)/GFAST is available to order. All you need to do is place an order with your chosen service provider to enjoy the benefits of faster fibre broadband." ... etc.
I can only hope that this 'case handler' knows his shizzle and is right because I am about to go and make an order! If my stress levels can handle it (depending on the outcome) I will try and let you guys know if it succeeds. wish me luck, I'm goin' in! 🤞
