I am currently with Plusnet, until the 26.4, but I want to switch to Sky. What is the best date to do the switch ?

@Newguy+007is your minimum contract with Plusnet over with. A normal change of ISP that uses the openreach network is 14 days.  So if you can order and not have any penalty charges then it will be up to yourself when you want to take that leap.

Re: Broadband transfer.

Thanks for that reply.

Sky have got a Broadband deal which endson the 30th of March.

I have paid for Plusnet until the 26th of April.

I am not sure if I can sign up for the Sky deal, but delay the transfer until the 26th of April.

From what I could see, it wants to transfer straight away.

I did look at the Sky web-site for help, but I couldn't find any.

I also phoned the number provided, but all I got was "call failed" !!!

@Newguy+007If you have paid up till that date then if you leave you should get a refund from your old provider.

If you need a number to call Sky one can be found at the bottom of the link below under " Need more help "

Re: Broadband transfer.

I don't think they will give me a refund, because my contract with Plusnet runs until the 26th.

@Newguy+007You are sure you are not in contract with Plusnet and the 26th of next month is the last day or your minimum contract with them?  Just if you might be able to do this also.

I have already been all through that page for help.

I also phoned the number provided (removed), but all I get is "call failed".

Re: Broadband transfer.

That credit offer sounds like a solution. I wasn't aware of that.

I would just prefer to speak to a human being about these matters !

Thanks for your patience and help.
