Same here, GL5 Bisley Old Rd. No internet and the orange internet light on router/hub despite resetting twice.

 

Sky service checker says all is hunky dory with our connection and no reports in the area...

Yeah my connection checks shows all green i wish same could've shown to my router..all orange and sky is sleeping!!

Same problem here on Langtoft Road says it's fine when I run the tests and no problem reports yet clearly it is a local thing 🙄

Sadly we seem to be stuck. Resets not working, no option to report. I hope at least this discussion thread will give sufficient proof of the outage and we can all claim our money back. It's very disappointing. I can't work out whether coincidental or intentional that we can't report it. In any case, it seems like the only option is to wait and see.

Another in GL5 down. I often work in the night but have had several issues with Sky broadband dropping and frustrated at the inability to at least flag when there is an issue.

Yes gl11 is down as well ours won't even connect and won't let us your service checker

Have you tried using the service checker using mobile data.  If the checker comes back as all good then click on your broadband speed and click the connection test in the blue box until it updates.

You don't get compensation for a loss of service for a few hours. 

In the UK two WORKING days is the service level agreement between ISP’s and Openreach for fixing a fault, The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk for UK customers.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (from 01/04/24 the rates are £9.76 per day).
