Broadband stopped with Green light flashing

Hi

Seems that Sky customers issue with broadband suddenly stopping is still ongoing.  Just before midnight while watching a program,  my internet suddenly stopped and the light on the hub started flashing green.  I turned it off a few times but didn't reset anything,  still no Internet with flashing light.  Is there a quick fix to this apart from waiting tomorrow morning to call Sky? Thanks

@Nw26 this page explains what the lights on the hub mean https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

If the issue hasn't cleared this morning call Sky but it is possible that the network has been taken down for essential maintenance so your hub cannot connect. This work is always done overnight to cause the minimum inconvenience.

Re: Broadband stopped with Green light flashing

Thank you for your advice @Chrisee.

I did call Sky and was told it was highly likely the issue is with the socket on the wall rather than the hub. BT Openreach Eng'r came this morning and managed to fix the problem straight away. It was the connection outside that came lose.
