Find out more@Cleoyates no long term issue with the service checker in the My Sky app and you should be able to see the current speed to your hub and if you click onnthe the history for the last 2 weeks. If you are in contract and the speed is lower than the guarantee for your line then the hub should offer help.
If you have a black Sky hub you can see its connection stats as explained here Sky Hub statistics
Using internet speed tests will give lower figures as you lose roughly 8% of the connection speed to overheads and you have to ensure nothing else is using the connection when running the test - dont assume devices not being used are not using bandwidth as many run updates etc while idle. Last and most common issue is WiFi speed in your home limiting the test result.
