Broadband router in wrong location

We were previously with Virgin and our router was placed in our living room right in the middle of the house and we had no issues Sky have put our router in our daughter's bedroom at the front of the house because it was the easiest Can we have the router moved to a more suitable place?

@ChrisNoonan1968 as there should have been a responsible adult present when the install took place why was this not queried at the time?

Moving a full fibre ONT is not simple as the fibre cable is quite fragile. The easiest way is to run a longer Ethernet cable from thecONT running to say the landing and placing the hub there. This is something you can do yourself, Ethernet cables are readilybavsilable in any length you want. Older copper connections are simpler

However if you do want the ONT or phone socket moved you will need to call Sky who can arrange to send an engineer to see what is practical but there is likely to be a charge.
